With the help of Parks Canada through the Arts Smart Program, our students are working on a project involving in the story of the Charlottetown Conference. Students will learn the background history of each of the Father's of Confederation, as well as, their provinces, and with this new knowledge, create a place setting that represents each person.

With the help of Cindy Lentz, a potter from Borden both EAL students and CAR701 students will learn the proper pottery techniques, and entrepreneurial skills to create a logo and dinner place setting for each of the Father's of Confederation. Each group, combined of EAL students and CAR students, will create a cup, bowl, plate and utensils out of clay. The forms, designs, and glazes, will reflect their chosen Father of Confederation.
